Except as otherwise provided in this code or in regulations adopted by the commission, it is unlawful to take or possess any frog for commercial purposes.
This article does not apply to frogs grown pursuant to Division 12 (commencing with Section 15000).
Terms Used In California Fish and Game Code 6851
- Commission: means the Fish and Game Commission, and "commissioner" means a member of the Fish and Game Commission. See California Fish and Game Code 30
- frog: means all species of frog. See California Fish and Game Code 6850
- Take: means hunt, pursue, catch, capture, or kill, or attempt to hunt, pursue, catch, capture, or kill. See California Fish and Game Code 86
