The sole remedies for violations of the following provisions of this Act shall be fines of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for each advertisement, contract or prospectus which violates this Act. The provisions are: Article 10 (commencing with Section 66799) of Chapter 3 of Title 7.3 of the Government Code; Sections 10195.1-10195.8 of the Insurance Code; Chapter 3.95 (commencing with Section 1599.85) of Division 2 of the Health and Safety Code; and Article 6 (commencing with Section 12261) of Chapter 3 of Part 2 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code. For purposes of this Act, multiple copies of the same advertisement, contract or prospectus shall count as one violation. Any person may bring an action in Superior Court to impose any fine pursuant to this Act. Fines shall be deposited to the General Fund of the State.
