The provisions of this chapter do not require licensure of any place or establishment owned or leased and operated as a clinic or office by one or more licensed psychologists and used as an office for the practice of psychology, regardless of the name used publicly to identify such place or establishment.

Terms Used In California Health and Safety Code 1206.1

  • clinic: means an organized outpatient health facility that provides direct medical, surgical, dental, optometric, or podiatric advice, services, or treatment to patients who remain less than 24 hours, and that may also provide diagnostic or therapeutic services to patients in the home as an incident to care provided at the clinic facility.
