(a) As determined by the board of trustees, a zone may provide any service at any level or levels within its boundaries that the district may provide.
(b) As determined by the board of trustees and pursuant to the requirements of this chapter, a zone may exercise any fiscal powers within its boundaries that the district may exercise.
Terms Used In California Health and Safety Code 2093
- Board of trustees: means the legislative body of a district. See California Health and Safety Code 2002
- District: means any mosquito abatement and vector control district created pursuant to this chapter or any of its statutory predecessors. See California Health and Safety Code 2002
(c) Any special taxes, special benefit assessments, or fees which are intended solely for the support of services within a zone shall be levied, assessed, and charged within the boundaries of the zone.
