As used in this part, “clear evidence of the person‘s identity and age” means either of the following:

(a) A valid California driver’s license.

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • license: shall include a permit or a certificate issued by a state agency. See California Penal Code 23
  • person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person. See California Penal Code 7
