The director may fix a price upon and dispose of to the public all publications of the survey, including reports, bulletins, maps, registers, or other publications. The price shall approximate the cost of publication and distribution. The director may also furnish the publications of the survey to public libraries without cost and may exchange publications with geological surveys, scientific societies, and other like bodies.
