Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, for the purposes of this chapter, acquisition may include gifts, purchases, leases, easements, eminent domain, the transfer or exchange of property for other property of like value, and purchases of development rights and other interests, unless the Legislature shall hereafter otherwise provide. Acquisition for the state park system by purchase or by eminent domain shall be under the Property Acquisition Law (commencing with § 15850 of the Government Code), notwithstanding any other provisions of law.
