  • community advisory board: means that advisory board to the authority's board appointed by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors which is comprised of 15 persons who represent community and consumer interests and who do not directly earn their income from the provision of medical or health services.   • professional advisory board: means that advisory board to the authority's board composed of nine health and medical care professionals appointed by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, five of whom shall be nominated by the Monterey County Medical Society, with at least one to be a member of the Monterey County Chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians, one of whom shall be nominated by Natividad Medical Center, one of whom shall be nominated by the Monterey County Hospital Administrators' Association, and two of whom shall be nominated by other organizations in the County of Monterey representing other professional health care providers.
