The Commissioner of Transportation, in consultation with the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection and the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, may designate state highways or portions thereof as scenic roads. Any alteration of a scenic road shall maintain the character of such road when so designated, if practical.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 13b-31c
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Transportation appointed pursuant to this chapter. See Connecticut General Statutes 13b-2
- Transportation: means any form of transportation for persons or goods within, to or from the state, whether by highway, air, water, rail or any other means. See Connecticut General Statutes 13b-2
