On and after January 1, 2024, each limited repairer’s license issued by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles prior to January 1, 2024, that is otherwise valid, shall remain valid, according to its terms, and shall authorize each license holder to engage in the business of minor repairs of motor vehicles under the provisions of section 14-52 of the general statutes, revision of 1958, revised to January 1, 2023, until the expiration of the license. On and after January 1, 2024, the commissioner shall not issue or renew a limited repairer’s license.

  • Commissioner: includes the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and any assistant to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles who is designated and authorized by, and who is acting for, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles under a designation. See Connecticut General Statutes 14-1
