In a proceeding before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, the authority shall give special consideration to a request for party status from a person whose interests are not otherwise adequately represented by another party to the proceeding and shall not unreasonably deny such request.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 16-9a
- another: may extend and be applied to communities, companies, corporations, public or private, limited liability companies, societies and associations. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1
- Authority: means the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and "department" means the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. See Connecticut General Statutes 16-1
- Person: means an individual, business, firm, corporation, association, joint stock association, trust, partnership or limited liability company. See Connecticut General Statutes 16-1
