(a) Bulk fertilizers shall be stored in a manner that minimizes the release of such fertilizers and protects the environment.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 22-111w
- Application: means the process of placement or usage of fertilizer onto a targeted growing area. See Connecticut General Statutes 22-111b
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Agriculture. See Connecticut General Statutes 22-111b
- Fertilizer: means any substance containing one or more recognized plant nutrients, which is used for its plant nutrient content and which is designed for use or claimed to have value in promoting plant growth. See Connecticut General Statutes 22-111b
(b) Fertilizer use and application shall comply with best management practices and with regulations adopted by the commissioner pursuant to section 22-111j.
