Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to require municipalities or local or regional agencies otherwise eligible for federal or state financial assistance for purposes of emergency management or homeland security to agree that such financial assistance shall not be allocated directly to such municipalities or local or regional agencies.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 28-1h
- Emergency: means any occasion or instance for which, in the determination of the Governor or the President, state or federal assistance is needed to supplement state or local efforts and capabilities to save lives and protect property, public health and safety or to avert or lessen the threat of a disaster or catastrophe in any part of this state.
