No member of the state, or any town, city or borough, police force or any other person vested with police powers shall be eligible for a license under the provisions of sections 29-153 to 29-161, inclusive. If the applicant is a corporation, association or partnership, no person comprising the corporation, association or partnership may be such a member or person.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 29-154c
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
