Any fines or civil penalties imposed by the Banking Commissioner or ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with section 36a-50, 36a-53, 36b-27 or 36b-72 and any late fees received by the commissioner pursuant to subsection (b) of section 36a-65 shall be deposited into the General Fund.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 36a-60
- Commissioner: means the Banking Commissioner and, with respect to any function of the commissioner, includes any person authorized or designated by the commissioner to carry out that function. See Connecticut General Statutes 36a-2
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
