Except as otherwise provided in sections 38a-363 to 38a-388, inclusive, any right or obligation provided by said sections is enforceable by civil action. Actions under said sections shall be brought within the periods allowed under section 52-584 or section 52-555, respectively for the commencement of actions for injury to the person or death.

- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
- Person: means an individual, a corporation, a partnership, a limited liability company, an association, a joint stock company, a business trust, an unincorporated organization or other legal entity. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-1
