Not later than March 1, 2022, and annually thereafter, the commissioner shall submit a report, in accordance with section 11-4a, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to insurance. The report shall contain (1) an aggregation of the information and data submitted to the commissioner pursuant to section 38a-479qqq for the immediately preceding calendar year, (2) a description of the impact of the cost of outpatient prescription drugs on health insurance premiums in this state, and (3) such other information as the commissioner, in the commissioner’s discretion, deems relevant to the cost of outpatient prescription drugs in this state.
