The Insurance Commissioner may adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, as he deems necessary to effectuate the purposes of sections 38a-341, 38a-358, 38a-672, 38a-673, 38a-676, 38a-686 to 38a-689, inclusive, 38a-691, 38a-692 and 38a-694.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 38a-693
- Commissioner: means the Insurance Commissioner. See Connecticut General Statutes 38a-1
- Insurance: means any agreement to pay a sum of money, provide services or any other thing of value on the happening of a particular event or contingency or to provide indemnity for loss in respect to a specified subject by specified perils in return for a consideration.
