Each state, local or private agency responsible for the protection of persons with disabilities shall cooperate with any investigation conducted by the Department of Developmental Services and shall release records of any named person with intellectual disability or who receives services from the Department of Social Services’ Division of Autism Spectrum Disorder Services for review and inspection by the Department of Developmental Services. No such state, local or private agency shall release the records of a named person without the express consent of such named person or as otherwise provided by law.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 46a-13a
- intellectual disability: means a significant limitation in intellectual functioning existing concurrently with deficits in adaptive behavior that originated during the developmental period before eighteen years of age. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1g
