Any civil action wherein one of the issues is the interpretation of a zoning ordinance or regulation that is the basis of a pending criminal prosecution under section 8-12 shall be privileged in assignment for trial.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 52-191a
- Ordinance: means an enactment under the provisions of section 7-157. See Connecticut General Statutes 1-1
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
