On appointment of a receiver, the receiver has the status of a lien creditor under:
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 52-627
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- Personal property: All property that is not real property.
- Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
(1) Article 9 of title 42a as to receivership property that is personal property or fixtures; and
(2) Any provision of the general statutes that provides for filing on the land records of a town a certificate as to receivership property that is real property.
