Every person appearing shall be entitled, upon request, to a trial by jury and the court may order a trial of any issue to the jury.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 53a-203
- Person: means a human being, and, where appropriate, a public or private corporation, a limited liability company, an unincorporated association, a partnership, a government or a governmental instrumentality. See Connecticut General Statutes 53a-3
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
