The commissioner may terminate any loan guarantee if the mortgagee misrepresents any information pertaining to the guarantee or fails to comply with any term of the mortgage guarantee agreement in connection with the guarantee of the underlying loan.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 8-286d
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Housing. See Connecticut General Statutes 8-284
- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
- Mortgagee: The person to whom property is mortgaged and who has loaned the money.
