The vote for the party-endorsed slate or for any contesting slate of justices of the peace shall operate as a vote for all of the candidates on such slate and shall be counted as such, and there shall be no split-ticket voting for justices of the peace.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 9-443
- Slate: means a group of candidates for nomination by a political party to the office of justice of the peace of a town, which group numbers at least a bare majority of the number of justices of the peace to be nominated by such party for such town. See Connecticut General Statutes 9-372
