No person shall be excluded from jury service in this State on account of race, color, religion, sex, national origin or economic status.

- Race: includes traits historically associated with race, including hair texture and a protective hairstyle. See Delaware Code Title 10 Sec. 4503
- State: means the State of Delaware; and when applied to different parts of the United States, it includes the District of Columbia and the several territories and possessions of the United States. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
