Terms Used In Delaware Code > Title 13 > Chapter 8 > Subchapter VII - Child of Assisted Reproduction

  • Child: means a person who has not reached the age of 18 years. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
  • District: means a reorganized school district. See Delaware Code Title 14 Sec. 2001
  • District: means a reorganized school district. See Delaware Code Title 14 Sec. 2101
  • Donor: The person who makes a gift.
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
  • School board: means a board of education of a reorganized school district. See Delaware Code Title 14 Sec. 2001
