Notwithstanding the sections of this chapter, any person who asserts that he or she properly registered but has been denied the right to vote may appeal such denial to the court up to and including the day of the election.
Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 15 Sec. 2114
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- court: as used in this chapter shall mean either the Resident Judge of the county in which the person appealing the decision resides, or, in case of such judge's disability or absence from the county, any judge entitled to sit in the Supreme Court. See Delaware Code Title 15 Sec. 2101
