Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 1416 – Rights of bondholders and trustees
Any holder of revenue bonds issued by an authority under this chapter or any of the coupons appertaining thereto and the trustee under any trust agreement, except to the extent the rights herein given may be restricted by the resolution or trust agreement providing for the issuance of such bonds, may either at law or in equity, by suit, mandamus or other proceeding protect and enforce any and all rights under the laws of this State or granted hereunder or under such resolution or trust agreement, and may enforce and compel the performance of all duties required by this chapter or by such resolution or trust agreement to be performed by the authority or by an officer thereof, including the fixing, charging and collecting of rates, fees and charges for the use of or for the services furnished by any project.

Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 1416
- Authority: means a body politic and corporate created pursuant to this chapter or, if such body politic and corporate shall be abolished, the board, body or commission succeeding to the principal functions thereof or to which the powers given by this chapter to such body politic and corporate shall be given by law. See Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 1401
- Bonds: means and includes notes, bonds and other evidences of indebtedness or obligations which each authority is authorized to issue pursuant to § 1408 of this title. See Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 1401
- Project: means any water system, sewer system and any combination or part or parts thereof owned, constructed or operated by an authority under this chapter. See Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 1401
- State: means the State of Delaware; and when applied to different parts of the United States, it includes the District of Columbia and the several territories and possessions of the United States. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
