(a) Each agency shall make available promptly to the public upon request, for inspection, originals or legible copies of its public records in accordance with the State‘s Freedom of Information Act laws (Chapter 100 of Title 29).

Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 29 Sec. 10112
- Agency: means any authority, department, instrumentality, commission, officer, board or other unit of the state government authorized by law to make regulations, decide cases or issue licenses. See Delaware Code Title 29 Sec. 10102
- Freedom of Information Act: A federal law that mandates that all the records created and kept by federal agencies in the executive branch of government must be open for public inspection and copying. The only exceptions are those records that fall into one of nine exempted categories listed in the statute. Source: OCC
- State: means the State of Delaware; and when applied to different parts of the United States, it includes the District of Columbia and the several territories and possessions of the United States. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
