The Secretary of Agriculture may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction for, and such court upon hearing and for cause shown may grant, a temporary or permanent injunction restraining any person from violating this chapter.

Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 6 Sec. 5135
- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- person: means both the plural and singular, as the case demands, and shall include individuals, partnerships, corporations, companies, societies, and associations. See Delaware Code Title 6 Sec. 5101
