Upon receipt of a judgment of decree of eligibility for reward under Florida Statutes § 790.164, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement shall ascertain whether funds are available in the deficiency fund. When funds are available or next become available, the claim shall be presented to the Governor and Cabinet at their next meeting.
