A person whose driver’s license has been revoked pursuant to Section 322.26 or 322.27, F.S., who does not own a motor vehicle, shall not be required to show proof of future financial responsibility under Florida Statutes § 324.072, until such time as the person is eligible for reinstatement and as a condition precedent to the issuance of a driver license, or acquires the ownership of a motor vehicle, whichever occurs first.
