An inmate who has a mental disorder and is in immediate need of care and treatment as defined in Florida Statutes § 945.42(5), that cannot be provided at the institution where the inmate is currently housed may be placed in a corrections mental health treatment facility in accordance with Florida Statutes § 945.44
