(1) The District is delegated authority by the Department of Environmental Protection to assume certain responsibilities of Florida Statutes Chapter 373 This delegation, general to the Water Management Districts, is pursuant to authority contained in Sections 373.016 and 373.103, F.S., and is described in Rule 62-113.200, Chapters 62-532 and 62-550, F.A.C.
(2) The exercise of delegated authority by the Board, or any person designated by the Board as its agent, includes all the jurisdiction, powers, and authority conferred by law upon the District.
