Pursuant to Florida Statutes § 581.031(6), the dogwood anthracnose disease incited by Discula destructiva is declared to be a plant pest and a nuisance as well as any plant or other thing infested or infected therewith or that has been exposed to infestation or infection and therefore likely to communicate same. A quarantine is hereby established against any state, territory, or country known to be infested with dogwood anthracnose.
