Unexcused absences shall include any absence other than: one caused by serious illness of a member preventing attendance; serious illness or death of an immediate family member; unavoidable travel delays or cancellations preventing attendance or a survey of the member’s facility. Members shall communicate the reason for any absence to the Executive Director prior to the meeting and the reason for the absence shall be made a part of the minutes of that meeting.
