Each portable extinguisher which has been subjected to any type of service shall have an approved standard record tag securely attached thereto, before being placed into service. Standard service tags shall not be attached to fire extinguishers which do not comply with this rule or the standards adopted herein, until the violation is corrected in accordance with Florida Statutes § 633.308 The standard service tag on a fire extinguisher shall indicate that the person, whose name and permit number appear on the tag, has serviced the fire extinguisher in compliance with these rules and the standards adopted herein. Only the person performing the service shall prepare and affix the appropriate service tag as provided by this rule chapter.
