- writing: includes handwriting, printing, typewriting, and all other methods and means of forming letters and characters upon paper, stone, wood, or other materials. See Florida Statutes 1.01
Whoever willfully cuts, paints, pastes, marks, or defaces by writing or in any other manner any educational building, furniture, apparatus, appliance, outbuilding, ground, fence, tree, post, vehicle, or other educational property with an obscene word, image, or device commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083. This section shall not apply to any student in grades K-12 subject to the discipline of a district school board.
