Terms Used In Florida Statutes 320.091

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
  • person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
Any trust which provides the beneficial use of a vehicle registered to the trust to a person otherwise qualified for a special license plate pursuant to ss. 320.0807, 320.083, 320.084, 320.0842, 320.0843, 320.0845, 320.086, 320.0863, 320.089, 320.0893, and 320.0898, may purchase the special license plate for the vehicle used by the qualified individual. The trustee shall provide an affidavit as to the terms of the trust related to the motor vehicle.
