- Department: means the Department of Legal Affairs. See Florida Statutes 501.203
- Violation of this part: means any violation of this act or the rules adopted under this act and may be based upon any of the following as of July 1, 2017:(a) Any rules promulgated pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U. See Florida Statutes 501.203Whenever criminal or civil intelligence, investigative information, or any other information held by any state or federal agency is available to the department on a confidential or a similarly restricted basis, the department, in the course of the investigation of any violation of this part, may obtain and use such information. Any such intelligence or investigative information that is confidential or exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1) retains its status as confidential or exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1).
