(1) Criminal or civil intelligence or investigative information or any other information held by the department as part of a joint or multiagency examination or investigation with another state or federal regulatory, administrative, or criminal justice agency which is confidential or exempt under the laws or regulations of that state or federal agency is confidential and exempt from s. 119.07(1) and Fla. Const. Art. I, § 24(a). The department may obtain, use, and release the information in accordance with the conditions imposed by the joint or multiagency agreement.
(2) The department may release information that is made confidential and exempt under subsection (1):
(a) In the furtherance of its official duties and responsibilities.
Terms Used In Florida Statutes 570.077
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. See Florida Statutes 570.02
(b) To another governmental agency in the furtherance of its official duties and responsibilities.
(3) The public records exemption provided in subsection (1) does not apply to information held by the department as part of an independent examination or investigation conducted by the department.
