- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The membership of a corporation existing under the provisions of this act shall be composed of persons who have been approved for membership, as provided by the charter and bylaws of the corporation.
