No group health insurance policy providing coverage on an expense-incurred basis, or group service or indemnity-type contract issued by a nonprofit corporation, or self-insured group health benefit plan or trust, of any kind or description, shall be issued unless coverage provided for any service performed in an ambulatory surgical center, as defined in s. 395.002, is provided if such service would have been covered under the terms of the policy or contract as an eligible inpatient service.
