Whoever brings into this state, with intent to pass the same therein, any bills or notes in the likeness of banknotes, which said bills or notes are or have been issued by private individuals or private unincorporated companies in any or either of the states in the United States, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.083.
