Terms Used In Florida Statutes 947.045

  • Commission: means the Florida Commission on Offender Review. See Florida Statutes 947.005
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
The Federal Grants Trust Fund is hereby created, to be administered by the Florida Commission on Offender Review.

(1) Funds to be credited to the trust fund shall consist of receipts from federal grants and shall be used for the various purposes for which the federal funds were intended.
(2) Notwithstanding s. 216.301 and pursuant to s. 216.351, any balance in the trust fund at the end of any fiscal year shall remain in the trust fund at the end of the year and shall be available for carrying out the purposes of the trust fund.
