§ 3460. Prohibition against cancellation of policy when motor vehicle is used or operated through a peer-to-peer car sharing program. (a) An insurer shall not cancel an existing motor vehicle insurance policy solely on the basis that the motor vehicle covered by the insurance policy has been made available pursuant to a peer-to-peer car sharing program in compliance with Article 40 of the general business law.
(b) The definitions set forth in section three thousand four hundred fifty-eight of this article shall apply to this section.
