Terms Used In Florida Statutes 125.37

  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
Whenever, in the opinion of the board of county commissioners, the county holds and possesses any real property, not needed for county purposes, and such property may be to the best interest of the county exchanged for other real property, which the county may desire to acquire for county purposes, the said board of county commissioners of any county is authorized and empowered to make such an exchange. Provided, however, before any exchange of property shall be effected, a notice, setting forth the terms and conditions of any such exchange of property, shall be first published, once a week for at least 2 weeks, in a newspaper of general circulation published in the county, before the adoption by the board of county commissioners of a resolution authorizing the exchange of properties.
