- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Any general obligation bonds shall be authorized by resolution of the district board and the provisions of s. 153.63 relative to maturities, execution, rate or rates of interest, redemption prior to maturity, registration, method of sale, and all other matters in said s. 153.63 not inconsistent with the other provisions in this law relating to general obligation bonds, shall apply to any general obligation bonds issued hereunder.
