- User fees: Fees charged to users of goods or services provided by the government. In levying or authorizing these fees, the legislature determines whether the revenue should go into the treasury or should be available to the agency providing the goods or services.
Responsibility for the setting of user fees charged to members of the public purchasing or using a wastewater service of a wastewater facility subject to a wastewater facility privatization contract; collection of such fees; and enforcement of fee obligations, regulations, and other requirements and obligations applicable to members of the public who purchase or use the wastewater service shall remain obligations of the public entity.
