Terms Used In Florida Statutes 24.117
- minor: includes any person who has not attained the age of 18 years. See Florida Statutes 1.01
- person: includes individuals, children, firms, associations, joint adventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations. See Florida Statutes 1.01
Any person who knowingly:
(1) Sells a state lottery ticket when not authorized by the department or this act to engage in such sale;
(2) Sells a state lottery ticket to a minor; or
(3) Sells a state lottery ticket at any price other than that established by the department;
is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
